(More customer reviews)It was my expectation after reading the glowing reviews that these replacement pads would be exactly what I was looking for, but at less cost than the originals. Unfortunately after a couple of uses, I do not plan on using these again and will go back to buying the Bissell Steam Mop Microfiber Pad Replacement, 2-Pack, 3255 even if I have to pay more.
My main issue with these pads are the material used. They are NOT Microfiber and they do NOT absorb the moisture like the original pads. When steaming my wood floors with the 3255 pads, any moisture left behind dries almost immediately. With these "comparable" pads, my floors are left very wet and if I don't take a towel to them, they'd sit like that for 30+ minutes. Because I have wood floors, the last thing I want is water sitting on them, that was the point of getting a steam mop and no longer washing by hand.
Obviously the previous reviewers were happy with their purchases, but for me they are not at all what I had hoped for.
